Appointments are usually between 50-60 minutes.

Services are provided in accordance with the Australian Psychological Society Code of Ethics and Professional Practice, and Charter for Clients of Psychologists.

Consultation Fees:

Registered Psychologist fees are $165.00* for a 50-60 minute consultation.   Fees are payable at the time of consultation.  A Medicare rebate for 10 sessions each calendar year of $89.65 is available with a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP or Psychiatrist. Longer appointments are available on request.

Clinical Psychology fees are $205.00* for a 50-60 minute consultation.   Fees are payable at the time of consultation.  A Medicare rebate for 10 sessions each calendar year of $131.65 is available with a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP or Psychiatrist. Longer appointments are available on request.

* Reduced fees are available for Health Care Card holders.

Cancellation Fees:

​If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment at late notice, it is unlikely this gap will be filled.  Late cancellations result in loss of time and income to the Psychologist and also means other clients have lost an opportunity for an appointment.

With this in mind, MidCoast Psychology & Psychotherapy has a cancellation policy.  If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours notice to avoid paying a cancellation fee. 

Please Note No Medicare rebate is available for cancelled sessions.

Private Health Insurance:
Depending on your health plan, a proportion of your fees may be covered by your private health insurance.
